good news: local school wins the Real Food Is… contest

Change can happen from the ground up.  Here is the story about how Lincoln Elementary School in Mt. Vernon, Washington is making a difference.  Having grown up a stones throw from Mt. Vernon I am loving this story of a community taking a stand, educating the children, trying to make the tough choices.

There are many more gems like this school out there.  Take notice.  There is more to the problem than meets the eye, access is a huge obstacle.

That is SO great! I love it. Jamie Oliver needs to see this and go to that school and show all those doofusses out there that it can be done!

its nice to see a school getting a positive spin on its food!! Jamie Oliver needs to check it out…..and then send him to my school!!
