Have you already prepared your gifts for your favorite foodie? Do not fret, it is not too late. No, forget that TGI Friday’s gift certificate you saw at Safeway. You can give that to my brother. He would put it to good use, but if you really care for the foodie in your life check out these great ideas and if you get right on it there may still be enough time to be the shining star Christmas morning.
TableFare makes the BEST solution for your spices I have ever scene. I met Carol in Seattle for the Foodista International Food Blogger Conference last May. I was intrigued by her company and her spice idea. I was waiting for it to hit the shelves. It arrived. I bought a set. I cannot believe the quality. (This is not a paid endorcement, it is real drool)
The purchase of this as a gift for myself most notably made me realize just how many spices I have. Not that I can part from any so I am in need of more of these gems to finish the job.
This amazing book by Thomas Keller. It is the bomb. What a magnificent chef. Even if you are not cheffy at all this book will make you a better home cook, guaranteed.
I am still desiring this book. I want to eat at Momofuku, but crossing the USA is a bit of a distance for a meal. I do hear that it is worth the trip though. Second best I will take the book and make it for myself.
The food processor I have is probably considered an antique. It is only 7 cups and the plastic is so brittle that it is starting to crumble away. I hate to part with it, we have had such great times. One of these days I will have to break down and buy a new one and send the old one off with the Brave Little Toaster to explore Mars.
everyone needs one of these, magic just magic. I desire a whole counter top out of this, so if anyone is feeling generous.
I cannot tell you how happy I would be to receive this. Honey, did you hear that?
These awesome herb pots from Sur La Table look like winter’s solace. I would love to have fresh herbs all the time. They make me happy.

Love your list, Kristen! I have Ad Hoc, would like Momofuku someday but I think the item I want most on your list is the Chinese cleaver/knife. I’ve been adding to my kitchen arsenal but that is still lacking. Love the spice storage system – will add it my Amazon wish list (hint to friends and lovers).
Happy holidays to you and the family.
xo
One of each, please!
I love your list Kristen!! I now what I will be getting this year from my husband: the Dutch translation of Mark Bittman’s vegetarian cookbook , the fat vegetarian, with over more then 2000 recipes in it!! Yeah!!!
Charles, isn’t Amazon great. I hope that someone is checking your wish list
Have a Great Christmas!
Aoife, I’ll be sure to let the “big guy” know you want one of each! Merry Christmas
Sophie, Mark Bittman is fantastic. I do not have the vegetarian version but I have tried some of the recipes
I’ll be waiting to see the results of the 2000 recipes!!! Merry Christmas
Oh, does the “big guy” come to Ireland? I’m thinking not… I need to be in better touch with my heritage.
Great list Kristen. I’m adding a couple of these to my wishlist now (the spice storage especially). Ad Hoc and Momofuku are already on my list
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
