Teachers can teach on an individual basis. One of my granddaughters reads above her level and her kindergarten teacher made sure to challenge her during the year with special projects. I should have a permanent on staff proofreader, oh yeah, I have no staff. They didn't make you quit, you just refuse to be a part of a failing system anymore. You made the decision. I can see that they are chained to the programs and texts that they buy. What surprises me the most is that they seem to have no idea about the individuals, I feel like I am back in the USSR. The other child is struggling with grammar and I am the one who had to bring it their attention (last year and currently) and they suggest I invest in a tutor.
