This is a TV program that aired in the UK in January. It is part of a push to get more people to cook at home and eat better. The program was for the entire nation to cook and eat together. The idea is brilliant. There is even a true naked chef, don’t get your knickers in a knot, nothing risque.
The idea was to show anyone that they too could cook a great 3 course meal in the amount of time it took to watch the show. The ingredients were posted ahead of time so the nation could get out and shop. Then Gordon with his studio audience, guest home cooks and others could cook along. There is video of the others from time to time showing their progress, mishaps, etc. It is super funny to watch.
Theoretically the entire nation of Great Britain would have a meal they made themselves at the same time.
The UK’s channel 4 has some of the best entertainment ever. I wish we could have this much fun on TV here in the USA. Proceed with caution, you might have a good time.
